Handlat till kvällen

Nu har vi handlat hem massa mat till kvällen blir spännade att smaka pilgrimsmusslor som jag inte testat innan, hummer o oxfile "surf&turf" eller vad det nu heter. Några stack till bronte beach och jag o resten ligger nu vid poolen och lapar sol, och vilar inför kvällen. Vid Harbour Bridge är fantastiska fyrverkeri men det är så mycket folk så vi ska gå upp på en höjd här i närheten och titta. Vi var ju nere vid hamnen i går och det var enorma förberedelse inför kvällen parkerna närmast öppnar tidigt och stängs sedan redan kl 15 så skulle man varit där så måste man vara ute tidigt och sedan suttit där och väntat hela dagen.. Kl 21 är ett fyrverkeri för barnen sedan ett till vid 12 slaget, ska bli maffigt att skåda även om man inte är precis under bron.
Nu får jag nog ta ett svalkande dopp, kram och gott nytt år på er alla!

Nyårsafton

I går var vi på Taronga Zoo här i Sydney, fint och fick se alla unika Australiensiska djur! Vi åkte tåg buss och färja dit, så nu har vi testat lokaltrafiken vi börjar hitta i närområdet.
I förr går tog vi tom en löprunda i Queens park ! Varmt men känns så skönt efteråt!
Inget speciellt shoppat än heller köpcentrat vid Bondi Junction var enormt så ska man gå igenom det får man nog tillbringa en vecka där :)
nu är vi uppstigna och ska idag ha det bara skönt barnen har redan badat i poolen och vi ska handla till kvällens meny.
Gott nytt år på er! Vi går in i 2013 10 timmar före er!

Beacherna

I går så bestämde vi att vi skulle gå ner till stränderna och titta det är en bit dit samt lite backigt och trappor men på med hattar kepsar och fyllda vattenflaskor. Vi kom först till Bronte beach som var då så klart närmast, här ligger de liksom i vikar så det är inte sammansatta stränder utan det är som stenklipphällar? emellan stränderna sen var det en strand till innan vi nådde Bondi beach, och det var en knökfull strand fram till att det blåste upp då kunde vi inta vara kvar för sanden sved.lunchen tog vi i parken med en jätte god take away burgare från Moo.
Promenaden tillbaka mer uppe genom gatorna för att förvilla barnen som var lite trötta... Visade sig att vi nog hade gått en mil! Så ölen när vi sen var hemma satt fint
grillade kött o lamm hemma lagad potatissallad o sallad.
Nötköttet här är fantastiskt gott!
Löpturen på Bondibeach är inte att tänka på jag antog det var en flera kilometer lång strand vilket de alltså inte var, det finns ju en gångväg längre upp men knökad med folk så jag ska ta mig ut i en park som finns här ett par kvarter bort istället. Idag har vi inget planerat än får se vad dagen har att erbjuda oss :) godnatt Sverige och godmorgon Sydney, vi sover längre här ser jag :) kl är 8.35 och jag har inte stigit upp än och det är nog ingen annan som har gjort heller vad jag kan höra...

Sydney

Sydney, sitter på planet och väntar på att få komma in och gå ur flygplanet väntat 30 min.. Någon på vår plats med maskinfel.
Resan hit har gått bra hade flygtaxi att hämta oss så det gick smidigt, och vi har sovit strax utanför Noosa.
Väl framme i på flygplatsen så möttes vi av Veines bror Leo, han tog halva gänget i bil och resten tog taxi.
Leo o Nathalie med barn tog emot oss alla 8 i sitt hus vi gjorde oss hemmastada o sen grillade de Aussie goda korvar till oss alla, barnen tog ett dopp i deras pool, vi är ju vana att vakna tidigt och blir då även trötta tidigt. Får planera upp så vi hinner göra allt vi vill nu när vi är i Sydney: Zoo, city med bron och operahuset osv, en båttur, vingårdsvisning, blue mountains mm mm.

Vi kom iväg i tid och taxin kom när den skulle, i Noosa så möte Malins kusin Maria upp med en låne bil och vi hämtade ut hyrbilen, Maria tom körde före oss så vi tog oss ut på rätt ställe till Motorvägen mot Hervey Bay. Första resan i vänster trafik gick över förväntan och vi var framme i Hervey Bay redan 12.15. Kl 13 skulle vi var på aussietrax 4x4 där vi fick en genom gång av vår bil och hur vi skulle köra, det var inte lätt att få in vår packning och mat för alla dagar, färjan ut till Fraser Island gick på 45min och sedan körde vi rakt igenom ön till vårt boende tog nog nästan 1,5h efter lite letande så hittade vi vår korridor med rum, 3 sängar i varje och gemensama toaletter med dusch och även gemensamt köksutrymme och sittplatser ute utanför.
Snuskiga tallrikar osv o knappt något diskmedel så vi köpte diskmedel o disksvampar i den lilla jourbutiken, 6.70 ausd blir en liten flaska för nästan 50 sek men det kan vara billigt för att inte bli magsjuka.. Vattnet i kranarna kan man dricka på vissa ställe har det bara lite klorsmak men det försvinner nästan när man kyler det.
Första kvällen var vi trötta och la oss tidigt.
julafton- uppe vid 7 och gav oss sedan ut och körde lägs stranden upp till Indian Head en klippa därifrån det var en fantastisk vy och man såg att ön verkligen bestod av sand.
På tillbaka vägen stannade vid Eli creek en sötvattens å som rinner ut i havet där kunde man åka i det strömma vattnet ut mot havet det var mysigt julmiddagen bestod i nudlar strimlad biff och sallad.
Juldagen uppe innan 7 som vanligt vi är trötta o kommer därför i säng tidigt på kvällarna. I väg till Mc xx en vacker sötvattens sjö med kristallklart vatten och kritvit sand och varmt o skönt i vattnet framåt dagen var även himmlen klarblå utan moln, badade någon dryg timme tog lite lunch sen bad igen innan vi körde hemåt, slappade tog mellanmål med nudelsoppa och sen gick vi ner vid havet där vi bor, vackert! Hem igen spelade lite kort grillade på våra goda inhemska korvar o gick tidigt i säng igen, våra grannar skänkte oss öl o champange till fruarna då vi beklagade oss att vi inte fick handla det i affären i Euron då de inte fick sälja just på juldagen, trevliga grannar på 2 håll trevligt o prata med dem. Hillevi har funnit en grann kompis hon leker bra med då de har likadana sälar en vit o en rosa :)

God Jul !

Då vi i morgon är på resande fot så kommer vi nog inte åt internet på några dagar, vi kommer vara på Fraser Island i 3 nätter. Där ska vi köra med 4hjuls driven bil i sanden, och bada i kristallklara sötvattens sjöar och surfa på sandynerna.
Vi är sedan en natt i Noosa innan vi tar flyget ner till Sydney den 27/12.
Ha en God Jul för det ska vi ha genom att grilla på stranden och skåla i champange ! :)

Sista dagen i Caloundra

Vi har varit uppe på stan o köpt en bräda för att åka på vågorna på havet och på sanddynorna på Fraser Island och flippflopp och kepsar så vi smälter in i milj ön :)
maten till Fraser är inhandlad och ligger i frysen, inte lätt att planera för 4 dagar på en ö utan att ha kylskåp brevid sig, fryst korv biffar och kött för att grilla så får det bli pasta o sallad till det, inte som det vanliga svenska julbordet precis..
Bilar är pyntade med röda nosar o renhorn en o annan julgran och ljusslingor men det är svårt att ta in jul känslan, kanske pga av att man tänkte bort den från början i år??!
Men detta är en helt annan upplevelse :)

Till slut hittade vi en lösning på hur vi skulle ta oss vidare

Vi är ju 8 personer med resväskor o handbagage som på söndag ska ta oss vidare 22 mil upp för att vara där kl 13 då vår genomgång inför trippen över till Fraser Island ska hållas. Det visade sig att bussar bara gick halvvägs, och när de skulle kolla om hyrbil så fanns ingen att tillgå då alla ska resa över julhelgen.. Till slut så har allt löst sig, Malins kusin kom förbi o tog våra stora resväskor sen ringde hon runt och hjälpte oss. Taxi härifrån till Noosa, hyrbil från Noosa till Hervey Bay, när vi sedan ska tillbaka för flyget ner till Sydney så är även en flygtaxi bokad. Skönt att allt löste sig! Idag har vi solat lite det är inte mycket tid vi hinner vara i solen så vi behöver inte vara oroliga för att bränna oss :D
Malin o jag gick flera km till super marketen för att handla, vi behöver ha med oss mat till Fraser Island också ju! Vår diskmaskin gick föresten sönder här så en service man var här och fixade..fick byta ut den

Soff häng

I kväll mulnade det på igen men jag o de större barnen har badat i havet o poolen, det mörknar snabbt och tidigt redan vid 19.30 är det mörkt.
Sitter nu och surfar ifatt oss med bla julkalendern ;)
vi har bra air conditioner så när allt är stängt o man är inne så vet man inte att det är varmt ute liksom, öppnade nu upp dörrarna så vi sitter o tittar på spåret och hör havets vågor o ljumna vindar kommer in.. Jul vad är det? Vi ser en o annan bil pyntade med röd nos och rudolfs horn, det närmsta tomten är de som var i akvariet i dag :)

Äntligen internet!

Idag tog vi bussen upp till Moololoba och Under water world och tittade på fiskar hajar sköldpaddor osv, då vi inte hinner ut på barriärrevet så fick vi iallafall se fiskarna och lite korallrev. väl tillbaka igen så hade vi internet uppkoppling det var visst avbrott på en kabel som de nu fixat, skönt! När vi inte planerat allt färdigt så är det svårt utan internet. Vi måste kolla hyrbil för att ta oss upp till Fraser Island som är vårt nästa bokade äventyr!

Saknar internet uppkoppling

Vi får inte vårt internet i lghten att fungera har felanmält o de försökte ringa mig i går fm men jag hörde det inte då vi var o handlade. Så nu är jag kvar i lghten då de ska försöka få ISP att ringa mig frågan är när? Har väntat över en timme så jag tror jag ska dricka upp mitt kaffe och gå ner till de andra på stranden, svårt att planera utflykter o dyl utan riktig internet uppkoppling vi verkar vara i ett land där man bör ha bil för allt man ska göra!? .lite mer vågor idag ser det ut som, igår var det lite åska utöver havet men inget regn som nådde oss iallafall. Fortfarande lite overkligt

Är helt otroligt häftigt boende med takterassen en altan o utsikten mot havet. Vi badar i havet o poolen Malins släktingar var o hälsade på idag på fm och vi passade på att be dem köra oss till supermarket så vi kunde handla, det ligger en bit bort och det är jobbigt att gå några km för att handla och då bära hem det i 30 graders värme.. Men nu har vi fyllt kylen så vi klarar oss ett par dagar. Öl dyl handlas i egna affärer. Det känns som allt är dyrare här än hemma.
Har legat på stranden ett par timmar o nu har solen gått i moln och det mulnar på men är fortfarande varmt o skönt får se om det blir åska och regn som vi hade i går kväll.

Framme i Caloundra

Nu har vi kommit fram till vårt bokade boende i Caloundra allt är över förväntan! Här ska vi nu vara i 7 dagar.Varmt är det också 25 grader i havet och 30 i luften helt ok!

Brisbane

De utlovade pannkakorna var lite för torftigt för oss, att själva få steka en pannkaka på en stekhäll det fanns sirap inget mer ingen dryck osv så vi gick en runda och tog subway till frukost :) trötta sega barn i värmen gjorde att vi drog oss tillbaka kanska så snart efter att ha skaffat prepaid Sim, som visade sig krånligare än hemma, för att aktivera fick man uppge lokal adress passnr och födelsedata men men nu har vi igång dem! I kväll gick vi på china restaurang då vi har chinatown brevid oss, det här med BYO bring your own alkoholhaltiga dryck är lite ovant för oss :) vi tog sedan en promenad över bron och såg Brisbane från en vacker upplyst sida, fladdermöss såg vi äta i ett par träd! Nu ska vi sova för att ta oss upp innan 8 för att hinna städa o packa till hostel bussen tar oss ned till stationen där Greyhound bussen ska ta oss till Calundra, ny stad nytt boende, denna gånf för 7 dagar men det känns som jag själv är bra i fas i tiden bara Anna som är lite tröttare men i natt blir det många normala timmar så sen är vi nog bra i fas med tidsomställningen. God natt! I natt stänger nattklubben redan kl 02 utanför fönstret :)

Australien!

Nu sitter jag i en säng i Brisbane! Kl är 10.22 och släckte lampan vid 03.50 lite dov i huvudet annars ok, barnen är desto svårt väcktare.. De severas pannkakor kl 11 så vi måste få liv i dem snart. taxi till detta backpacker hostel efter flyget som gick bra, och tog vi blev insläppta i landet utan problem fick tom vårt bagage synat men det visste vi ju var ok.
Hostel ja, hon i receptionen tyckte synd om oss då vi hade barn och bodde grannar med en pub så i stället för vårt bokade 8 bäddar så fick vi 2 egna rum, och vi fick ett 2 rums boende med 2 toa o dusch ?! Rena lyxsviten för samma peng! Resan har börjat bra! Kan inte lägga upp detta nu då vi inte har någon anslutning ska skaffa lokalt kontantkort idag med!

Singapore

Nu är vi i Singapore och hittade till slut fram till vårt bokade backpacker ställe, tog taxi som släppte av oss där vi trodde stället var men vi hittade det inte utan gick gata upp och ner två gånger trötta och svettiga i 30 graders värme. Nu är kl här strax 01 så vi ska sova för att hinna se något i morgon fm innan vi ska vara på flygplatsen igen innan 13.

Nu sitter nu på Dubais flygplats och väntar på nästa flyg mot Singapore, hade behövt vila lite men det är svårt..
